Tomcats were created in 1997 with 24 members and 11 purple mini prowlers , 1 big-rig with Shrine Billboard, 2 Recovery Vehicles .  In 2007 the unit expanded with the purchase of 7 additional mini cars.  As on the end of 2008 The recovery vehicles were upgraded and the Tomcats now have over 35 members.
