First Ceremonial Master Tom Ferrell is shown with three nobles from the Swansboro Shrine Club at their monthly meeting. Noble Tom was conducting his club visitation and provided them with five boxes of candy for our Candy Fundraiser. Two weeks later they had already sold two boxes. Swansboro membership is now at nine with three to five attending the monthly meetings. Noble Jim Shingleton, Club President, reported they have outstanding attitudes from the small club and will continue to have their fundraising events. They have their annual Fish Fry raising an average of $1300-$1500.00. They are assisted with this by the local Boy Scouts. They then help the scouts with the Boy Scout fundraiser and follow that with an annual fundraiser for a Scholarship program.
