Our Sudan Divan traveled to Suffolk County, Virginia on July 22, 2020 for the Annual Suffolk Shrine Club – Khedive Dinner. A great night of masonic sharing and fellowship was enjoyed by all. The attendance and conduct of the meeting were strictly enforced with the guidelines of the State of Virginia COVID-19 requirements. A great dinner was shared, followed by presentations by both our Sudan Potentate, Ill. Sir Allen “Buddy” Brown and Khedive Potentate, Ill. Sir Bill Hoggard. Ill. Sir Hoggard presented Ill. Sir Buddy with an “Honorary Khedive Membership Certificate” and Noble Hunter Marsh and Suffolk County Shrine Club President presented a framed photo of the original Sudan Marching Band when its membership was approximately 80 members. This event has become tradition for the two Shrine temples and is always an outstanding event.
