Roanoke Chowan Special Award

The Roanoke Chowan Shrine Club recently held its annual golf tournament to raise money for the Shriners Children’s (hospitals). This year’s tournament was again a tremendous success. Through the generosity of our sponsors and teams supporting us, we were able to raise $7,500.00 which was donated to Shriners Children’s. The club would like to thank all our sponsors and supporters for helping make this a wonderful day to support the children we serve.

     The photo above shows the Shrine Club President, Noble Tony Bracy presenting Noble Donnie Harrell a plaque of recognition  for his many years of outstanding service as chairman of the tournament. As in several times in the past years, it is through his efforts, dedication and leadership, this year’s tournament exceeded the goals of the club.
