Potentate Awards for 2025

Everyone is aware of the adverse winter storm conditions that forced Sudan to cancel our annual Winter Ceremonial in New Bern.  On April 3, 2026, our 2025 Sudan Potentate, Illustrious Sir E.T. “Tom” Ferrell III attended the Lenoir County Shrine Club monthly meeting.  At the conclusion of the 2026 Service Awards presentations, Illustrious Sir Ferrell announced the following 2025 awards and presented them accordingly to the Lenoir Shrine Club recipients.  He started the presentations by recognizing the Lenoir Lady Shrinette’s and commented on their outstanding work and assistance during the year!  Lady Michelle Basden, Shrinette’s President, accepted that award. 

The following awards were:   Potentate’s Awards (Plaques): Club of the Year Award-Lenoir County Shrine Club; Sudan Cart Caravan, and Sudan Motor Patrol.  Sudan Shriners Floating Awards presented were: Potentate Club Award – Lenoir Shrine Club, and the John Phillips Unit Award – Sudan Motor Patrol.
