Pitt Co S/C Service Awards

On May 21, 2026 the Pitt County Shrine Club conducted their monthly meeting and recognized three nobles to receive their 2026 Shriners International Service Awards.  A social followed by a great dinner was enjoyed by the 40 nobles, ladies and guests. Our 2017, Sudan Potentate, Illustrious Sir Stacey Pugh welcomed all in attendance. Shrine Club President, Noble Chad Moore opened the meeting and introduced our Divan members in attendance.  He turned the program over to Sudan Outer Guard Dexter Mills.  Noble Mills called Noble Dennis A. Roberson, Jr. to the podium to receive his 50-year Shriners International Membership Award.  He read the congratulatory letter from our Imperial Potentate, Imperial Sir Brad T. Koehn.  Our Sudan Potentate. Illustrious Sir Jeffrey Taylor then presented Noble Roberson his certificate and congratulated and thanked him for the many years of dedication and support for the Children! Nobles Floyd T. Brady, Sr. and Harold D. Smith were to received their 25-year Shriners International Membership Awards but were unable to attend and will be presented their awards and certificates at a later date.  Illustrious Sir closed out the evening events by announcing the creation of three Strategic Planning Committees.  The three are: (1) Membership Strategic Planning Committee with retention of current members and creating more new members, (2) Sudan Shriners Building Search Committee, and (3) a Sudan Media Platform Committee.
