New Bern S/C Awards

     On August 21, 2026, the New Bern Shrine Club conducted their monthly meeting.  Club President Brent Hart opened the meeting.  Over 70 nobles, their ladies and guests were in attendance, a social and dinner followed.  Noble William S. (Sam) Birmingham was recognized and received his 50-year Shriners International certificate and pin.  Noble Chad E. Braxton was to receive his 25-year award but was unable to attend.  That presentation will be made at a later date.

     Sudan’s 1st Ceremonial Master Lane Marshburn, read the letter and certificate information from Imperial Potentate, Imperial Sir Brad Koehn.  Lady Janet Birmington presented her husband the 50-year pin after which Chief Rabban Chris Boykin presented Noble Birmingham with the 50-Year Certificate.  Lady Janet was presented a bouquet of flowers from the New Bern Lady Shrinettes! A huge congratulations from all of Sudan.
