On April 21, 2025, the Dunn Shrine Club conducted their monthly meeting and recognized eight nobles as recipients of the Shriners International Membership Awards. There were approximately 50 nobles, ladies and their guests present. The photo above shows nobles with our Sudan Divan. Noble Edward D. Parker was presented with his 50-year Award. Noble’s Allen R. “Buddy” Brown Jr. (PP-16), Cecil G. Jernigan, and Harvey Tripp were presented their 25-year awards. Our Outer Guard and Area Governor Lee Cannady, read the letters of appreciation from Shriners International and the certificate information. Sudan Potentate, Illustrious Sir E.T. “Tom” Ferrell III presented each noble with their personal letter, certificate and appropriate lapel pin. Noble’s John W. Blackman, William D. Powell, Ricky D. Miller, and Johnny B. Winters were unable to attend and will be presented with their 25-year awards and certificates at a later date. Collectively, these membership awards represent 225 years of service to the fraternity and our Shriners Children’s Hospitals. Congratulations from all of Sudan!
