On December 1, 2021, our Sudan Divan attended the Lenoir County Shrine Club for Annual Service Awards Presentation and the Installation of their 2022 Officers. The last event for the night occurred when our Potentate, Illustrious Sir Coble D Wilson III announced that the seven-year-old standing next to him wanted to donate $94.00 to the Shriners Hospitals for Children. Hayes Williams has assisted recently at the monthly club fish frys by helping to clear tables and had received “tips” from the customers. On his own Hayes told his grandparents he wanted to donate the $94.00 collected to the Shriners Hospitals for Children. Hayes is the grandson of club member Noble Kory Williams. Our little friend Hayes obviously has a big heart and pays close attention to what goes on around him!
