Horse Patrol

The Sudan Shriners Horse Patrol was organized by the Wilson County Shrine Club  in 1963, the Horse Patrol serves as Goodwill Ambassadors for the Shriners Hospitals for Children. The Horse Patrol has been a regular participant in parades throughout the United States and Canada.  Noted for their precision drills and horsemanship, the group has won prestigious awards throughout the Shrine. They have also won the top equestrian unit award in the Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington, DC.  These Shriners are mounted upon Tennessee Walking Horses, featuring silver saddles and accouterments and are always a crowd favorite.
