Clowns

clowns.png

They started with 7 clowns in 1952 by Paul Strickland, Jr. and Curtis Ennis and formed for the Dunn Shrine Club.  In Sept. 1957, they formed the Sudan Dunn Clowns.  The unit is now more active than they have ever been.  The clowns perform in approximately 50 parades each year.  They still accept almost every invitation that they receive.  During the Christmas holidays, they are known to perform in as many as four parades a day.  When they have multiple parades, they divide the unit into two groups.
