Camel Drivers

The Camel Drivers are 40 years old this year.  They were started by Noble Elmer Burroughs and Noble Charlie Dickerson in 1969.  In the beginning, they had vehicles in the Ceremonial Parades with their start in selling merchandise of 150 Beach Towels, donated by the Potentate, which followed by license plates and fez cases.  Today they offer a variety of merchandise for the Nobility and their Ladies.  The Camel Drivers were best known for the Band Wagon and Calliope, not only in the Ceremonial Parades but in the various Shrine Clubs activities.  They are here to serve the Nobility and their Ladies with the ultimate object to provide support to the "Children"!
