Fifty nobles and their ladies gathered at the Wayne Shrine Club on July 20 for the monthly meeting and recognized nine members identified as recipients of their 25-year Service Awards from Shriners International. This was a special presentation in that PP John Cox from Goldsboro was the Potentate in 1998 when these nobles joined. PP Cale Grady (16), a member of the Wayne Shrine Club assisted Illustrious Sir Lou Smith in presenting the 25-Year Pins, and letters. Noble’s William “Andy” Adams, Jerry Best, John A. Hall, Major Jones, and George Raecher were present. Noble’s Charles B. Vickory III, William D. Flowers, Daryll Overton and William W Whitman Sr. were unable to attend and will be presented with their awards at a later date.
