The Ladies of the Wilmington Shrine Club, led by Committee Chair, Lady Julie Cox, and her hardworking committee, threw a fun, beautiful, fundraising winner for Shriners Children’s Greenville. Raising $6,163 for the cause, by selling 17 uniquely lovely tables for Ladies to enjoy a delicious lunch. The table decorations winner was Lady Dawn Thompson. The table was decorated with beautiful height, fresh flowers, and delicate China.
Twenty-one vibrant vendors, “nearly new” pocketbooks and a room full of dynamic items for a very successful raffle, added to their profit. The signature raffle item was a wooden plank tree crafted by Walker Collins, growing $500 worth of scratch off raffle tickets. Won by Lady Martha Sadler, it produced $268 for her pleasure.
First Lady, Patsy Woolard, made inspiring comments and enjoyed her day promoting Sudan Shriners and the “worlds greatest philanthropy”, Shriners Children’s. Thanks to everyone who assisted, attended, and enjoyed this special day on November 5, 2022.
