THANK YOU to all who came out to support the 55th Annual New Bern Area Shriners Fish Fry on Friday, April 22!! We were working to support a great cause--Shriners Hospitals for Children, and we appreciate everyone who purchased a plate, provided food/supplies, or worked the event. Our Pamlico Co location was blessed and honored to have help from one of our Shriner children, Isaac Rodriguez. Isaac helped with assembling plates and working the drive thru line, all with a huge smile that was almost as big as his heart. We also were honored to have a visit from Noble Roscoe L. Joyner, who recently celebrated his 103rd birthday and who came all the way from Belhaven to join the fish fry fun. Noble Joyner became a Master Mason in 1949 (at the Central Cross Lodge #187) and became a Sudan Shriner in 1959. It could not have been more inspiring to have Isaac and Noble Joyner at the same event reminding us of both the years of dedication the Sudan Shriners have made to helping children and the fantastic care our Shriner Children have received. Again, many thanks to you for your support! #SudanShriners
